A decade of being terrific

Ten years of bold ideas, trusted partnerships, and work we're proud of. From a small team with big ambitions to a name brands rely on — we've grown, evolved, and stayed true to one thing: being terrific, again and again.

OUR STORY

A Leap Over The Gorge.

A Leap Over The Gorge.

We started with no business lineage, no blueprint, and no safety net. What we had was a relentless hunger to build a high-performance team and culture — one laced with technology, fuelled by ambition, and unafraid of the unknown. We were willing to leap over the gorge blindfolded, with sheer hope that we would land on a green patch on the other side.

"Sometimes, all you need is a big leap of faith."

— The founding principle of Terrific Minds

THE NAME

TERRIFIC MINDS

"Great didn't cut it. But Terrific — that struck a chord. It wasn't normal. It wasn't conventional. It had a bold, electric energy that demanded you either love it or leave it. Either way, you couldn't ignore it."

"Great didn't cut it. But Terrific — that struck a chord. It wasn't normal. It wasn't conventional. It had a bold, electric energy that demanded you either love it or leave it. Either way, you couldn't ignore it."

The name came from an unlikely place — a late-night search for inspiration

and a quote by Eleanor Roosevelt:

"Great minds discuss ideas, average minds discuss events, small minds discuss people."

THE LOGO

A Mark of Leadership.

A Mark of Leadership.

The logo wasn't an accident. It was an obsession. After countless concepts, iterations, and refinements, we arrived at the final mark. Within the Spartan helmet's white space lies a hidden T and M, framing a focused gaze. The triangle atop the helmet symbolizes the leader at the front of battle, reflecting what Terrific Minds stands for.

At Terrific Minds, we are all leaders without titles.

At Terrific Minds, we are all leaders without titles.

Then came orange, inspired by two things: Magento, our founding technology stack, and the colour's energy, warmth, and optimism. Like the Spartans, who were outnumbered but never outmatched, every Terrific Minds team member is empowered to deliver with excellence, embodying the spirit of being truly Terrific.

our journey

Our Journey

Our Journey

Terrific isn't something we became - it's something we practice, every day, in every line of code and every conversation with a client. Our journey is less about where we started and more about the standard we refuse to lower.

2016

A small team. A bold leap. The journey begins.

In 2016, Terrific Minds began in Trivandrum with a small team, a big ambition, and no blueprint for what lay ahead. We were stepping into the unknown, driven by the belief that great work could come from a different kind of company — one built on ownership, curiosity, and an obsession with creating value. It was the beginning of a journey that would take us much further than we imagined.

2016
2017

Age of Innocence

Our team was building their first careers. The founders were building their first company. The sales team was selling for the first time. The recruiters were hiring for the first time. Every one of us was a beginner. Perhaps that became our greatest strength

2017
2018

The World Opens Up.

2018 was the year Terrific Minds stepped beyond its comfort zone and into the world. We travelled across continents to attend conferences, build relationships, learn from the best, win customers, and create partnerships that helped us scale our team and capabilities. Every conversation opened a door; every rejection taught us something; every opportunity made us sharper. We kept showing up, learning, adapting and building — one small step at a time.

2018
2019

Ready for Takeoff.

2019 was the year Terrific Minds began to find its stride. Our team grew to 45, our partnerships became stronger, and our ambitions stretched beyond familiar markets. Australia and Europe joined our growing global footprint, bringing new customers, new challenges, and new possibilities. The foundations were firmly in place — and Terrific Minds was ready for takeoff.

2019
2020

The Storm Arrives. We Hold On.

2020 changed everything. COVID forced us fully remote, and we surrendered our first office, reducing our physical footprint to a tiny 100 sq. ft. room. But we never gave up. Salaries were paid on time, no one was let go, and we kept moving forward. As physical stores shut their doors, businesses everywhere rushed to build digital ones — and our eCommerce expertise suddenly mattered more than ever. Luck met preparation. We grew in revenue, headcount and profitability through the storm. If the years before COVID taught us how to build a company, the pandemic taught us how to preserve its soul.

2020
2021

Swimming Against the Flow.

While the world was still navigating the uncertainty of COVID, we chose to move forward. In the middle of the pandemic, we opened a 16-seater office at Infopark Phase 2 in Kochi, while Terrific Minds Inc. was incorporated in Orlando and Terrific Minds Pty Ltd began operations in Perth. It was a bold step when most were stepping back — but it reflected something we had always believed: technology enables collaboration. People create it.

2021
2022

From Survival to Combat.

2022 was the year we rebuilt — our confidence, our culture, our customer base, and our ambition. New leaders joined, fresh talent arrived, and our engineering, design and delivery capabilities grew stronger. We returned to the world, travelling across Singapore, the UK, US, Australia and Switzerland, while deepening our Adobe, Shopify and UX capabilities. We recalibrated for what came next, expanded into healthcare and full-spectrum software, and even welcomed A. R. Rahman as a client — a fan moment we’ll never forget.

2022
2023

The Rise of the Doers.

By 2023, Terrific Minds had completed seven years — and something fundamental had changed. We were no longer a company carried by a handful of leaders. People had become builders, taking ownership and shaping the company alongside its founders. That shift changed everything. We chose stamina over comfort, temperament over emotion, and growth over certainty — and began building an organisation designed for the long run.

2023
2024

The Collective.

By 2024, Terrific Minds had evolved from a company driven by a few into a collective driven by many. Our customers trusted us because our doers refused to settle for mediocrity, and our culture grew stronger through the behaviours they demonstrated every day. We weren’t just chasing growth anymore — we were building an anti-fragile organisation, one where ideas meant little without execution and the fight belonged to all of us. The journey was no longer carried by a few. It was owned by everyone.

2024
2025

The Family of Businesses.

2025 marked the beginning of a new chapter. New ventures took shape — CuroTwin in dental technology and LumeXR in immersive technology — alongside deeper investments in AI, innovation and product development. We were recognised as Innovation Champions at Shoptalk US, while LumeXR won the WAVES 2025 National Award, emerging from 2,400 participants at the XR Creator Hackathon. What began as a single company was becoming a family of businesses. The challenge was no longer building one organisation, but building leaders capable of building many.

2025
2026

Leaders Without Titles.

2026 is the year Terrific Minds chooses to think bigger, move faster, and become deliberately unreasonable. CuroTwin deepens its presence in dental technology with a growing US and UK client base, enterprise AI expands across the portfolio, and Australia surges with an expanded local team. From a borrowed desk to a 135-strong global organisation, the journey is accelerating. We’ve learned that execution belongs to the doers — and that enduring organisations are built by people who choose ownership before they are ever asked to.
