We are looking for a Magento Front End Developer to help our company deliver value to our customers with excellent usability. We have a creative team who can assist with user flow prototyping. You will be in charge of translating the prototype into designs for the Magento front end. You will establish ways to complete your tasks with great quality, creating communication channels inside the team and other teams, creating estimations, proper resource and time management. Participation in defining the process of milestones for a new project. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, problem-solving skills, and a passion for applying their expertise in the best way.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain integration of Magento 2 Platform to back-end services
- Collaborate with end users, business analysts and IT leadership to define requirements, document technical plans, and communicate project status
- Work with technical management on the architecture and maintenance of the technical environment and infrastructure
- Provide solutions by developing, implementing, and maintaining Magento based Applications and Interfaces by analyzing user requirements; envisioning system features and functionality in compliance with specifications and standards
- Write well designed, testable, efficient code.
- Integrates applications by designing database architecture and server scripting; studying and establishing connectivity with network systems, search engines, and information servers.
- Update technical knowledge by researching on new internet/intranet technologies and software products
- Team building and mentoring
Knowledge & Experience
- 3-6 years of experience in Design, development, implementation and maintenance of Magento 2 websites, modules, themes etc.
- Excellent knowledge of Markup (HTML/CSS)
- Competent with Javascript (ES6, KnockoutJS, RequireJS, jQuery, Grunt/Gulp/Webpack)
- Good understanding of PHP (PHTML templating, Block, ViewModels etc)
- Good knowledge of PageBuilder
- Familiar with Magento Layout architecture and workflow
- Firm grasp of Git-based source control
- Good understanding of MVC structure and development patterns
- Competent with MySQL-based database concepts
- Comfortable working with Linux-based systems
- Knowledge and experience in the Hyvä theme or headless theming will be a plus.
- Experience with Scrum/Agile and all phases of the software development lifecycle
- Certification will be a plus
